STOP FAMILY VIOLENCE
5K Run/Walk

The Stop Family Violence 5K Run/Walk is a domestic violence
awareness event.

Violence within the home is a major public health and safety
issue that affects not only the family but also the entire
community. Through this event we:

* remember those who have tragically lost their lives to family
   violence and
* honor survivors who have courageously struggled against
family violence and abusive relationships; and
* honor the family, friends and community who support them
in their struggles to end the violence in their lives.

Family, friends and the community are encouraged to come out
and support survivors and families who have suffered in violent
and/or abusive relationships.
Proceeds from the Stop Family Violence 5K
run/walk will benefit the P.E.A.C.E. Initiative
to fund domestic violence education and
outreach efforts.
Each registered participant will be entered into a drawing for
two roundtrip tickets to anywhere Southwest Airlines flies.
