The P.E.A.C.E. Initiative is a private non-profit organization established in
1990 under the auspices of the Roman Catholic Order of Benedictine
Sisters to address the issues of domestic violence impacting the city.
In January 2003, the P.E.A.C.E. Initiative spun off on our own and in June
of 2003 we received our own 501 (c) (3) notification from the IRS. Our
membership consists of 48 public and private institutions, grassroots
organizations and individuals working collaboratively to end family
violence.
