Collaborative Commission on Domestic Violence

The P.E.A.C.E. Initiative Executive Director Patricia Castillo serves as one of the Tri-Chairs of the Committee for the City and County Collaborative Commission on Domestic Violence (CCDV). She guides and informs the work of the City’s and County’s response to the elevated levels of domestic violence now impacting the community. She also provides educational programming and classes on the issue of teen dating violence to area public, private and charter schools at all grade levels.

The CCDV publishes regular reports of its work to improve the domestic violence prevention and intervention system in Bexar County.

Faith Collaborative on Domestic Violence

Patricia Castillo also serves on the City of San Antonio’s Faith Collaborative on Domestic Violence where she guides the group’s efforts to engage and involve the diverse members of the faith community to assume a more active role in ensuring that they are addressing domestic violence as it affects their congregants. We also help them design, develop, and implement programming to address this issue in their places of worship.
